About

The architect,
not the agency.

I'm Dmytro Perederii. For ten years I've been the person merchants call when their Shopify Plus stack stops behaving, when their NetSuite sync runs a quarter out of date, or when a migration spirals into a $200K agency quote that nobody can justify.

No account managers, no junior team, no Gantt chart theater. You hire the person who will actually sit in the PR and ship.

// story

How I ended up doing this full-time.

My first eCommerce build was a Magento 2 store for a Kyiv-based fashion brand in 2016. The launch ran until 4am. A week later the client's accountant asked why their orders were importing twice. I spent the weekend learning that every integration is really a distributed systems problem in a trench coat.

Over the next eight years I kept meeting the same pattern. A merchant scales, an agency plugs in another integration, the seams hold until a Black Friday or a migration snaps them. By the time I'd seen it happen ten times, I realized the industry didn't have a shortage of builders. It had a shortage of architects who stay past launch.

That's the role I built for myself in 2022 when I moved from Kyiv to Miami. No retainer, no roadmap powerpoint — just a senior operator you can hand a broken stack and get a working one back.

// credentials

Certified where it matters.

I keep certifications current because the platforms move fast — and because a merchant deserves to know the person architecting their stack has actually passed the same bar their vendor does.

// timeline

Ten years, one discipline.

  1. First Magento 2 build

    Built my first production eCommerce stack for a fashion DTC in Kyiv. Learned the hard way why every agency says 'never touch Magento core.'

  2. Lead engineer, EU agency

    Ten shops a year, five platforms, three currencies. Discovered that most eCom problems are integration problems — not platform problems.

  3. Magento 1 → Shopify Plus migrations

    Shipped six migrations during EOL panic. Developed the SEO-preserving, URL-mapped, zero-downtime playbook I still use today.

  4. Moved to Miami

    Same Atlantic, different ocean. Started taking US clients directly, dropped out of agency work.

  5. First shipped AI integration

    Embeddings-powered product recommendations live on a $40M Shopify Plus store. Moved measurable revenue. Filed the other 40 proof-of-concepts under 'demos that never ship.'

  6. EcomOps.io launches

    Independent practice. No agency retainer, no hand-offs, no junior team behind the curtain.
